Be willing to give, to sacrifice, to dedicate all that you are to your goal. Don’t fear obstacles you may encounter or the setbacks you will face, rather use them and learn from them, turn them into stepping stones towards your destination. Your true measure isn’t merely the accomplishment, it’s how you approached the challenge, what you gave to the endeavor. You will fail at something, you will falter at some point, understand that. Project Title: Fifth Street Spa
Project Description: Was sited for 5th Street in downton Miami along the Miami river. On the West side of the project is a Roman bath and on the East parallel to it is a Turkish bath. In the center are the lobby, changing rooms an information/ticketing booth and administration offices, followed by a lap pool, a spa and massage rooms elevated to overlook the Miami River and the pedestrian path that parallels the river.

This is an analysis of Peter Zumthor's Therme Vals Spa in Vals, Switzerland. It was a precedent study for the conceptual design of a Spa that would have been located in the in downtown Miami, Florida.
I tried to analyze materiality, light and procession. Great detail went in to creating assemblies for the Quartz slabs that seamlessly become wall/facade/floor is amazing.
